# Get started

Maximize a frictionless checkout experience by using issuer data insights to apply exemptions. See [3DS Authentication and SCA Exemptions](/products/3ds-sca-exemptions) for an overview on our SCA products and when to use them.

## 1. Set your headers

## 2. Collect device data

Gathers customer browser details and performs a GeoIP lookup.

## 3. Exemption assessment (required)

API request containing payment, customer and order information. Optionally provide a `sessionId` from device data collection.
